These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the No Internet Messenger web application and installable app available at https://0pn.ai (the "Service"), provided by Samir Tirmizi ("we", "us", "I"). By opening, installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is a free tool: offline messaging app to send messages without internet, sim, wifi, nfc or bluetooth. It is provided for general, informal communication between nearby devices. It is not an emergency, safety, medical, aviation, maritime or life-critical communication system and must never be relied upon as one. Always use official emergency services and reliable communication channels where safety, health, property or legal rights may be affected.
Messages are transmitted locally between devices and are not routed through our servers. Any device within range that is running the Service can receive your messages. Messages are not encrypted and are not private. Do not send passwords, financial details, personal data of others or anything confidential. Delivery, accuracy and completeness of messages are not guaranteed; messages may be delayed, altered, lost or received by unintended devices depending on devices, distance, noise and other conditions beyond our control.
You are solely responsible for what you send and for complying with all laws that apply to you. You agree not to use the Service to send content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, infringing, deceptive or harmful; to spam or disturb others; to interfere with or disrupt devices, networks or the Service; to attempt to circumvent any technical limitation; or in any place or manner where its use is prohibited or where sound emissions may be disruptive or unsafe. You must not use the Service to impersonate any person or to mislead recipients about the sender of a message.
The Service uses your device's speaker and microphone to send and receive messages. You are responsible for your device, its settings, volume levels, battery use and for granting or revoking permissions. Prolonged or loud playback may affect your device or hearing; use sensible volume levels.
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over (or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent). If you are under that age, use the Service only with a parent's or guardian's permission and supervision.
The source code of the Service is published under the Apache License 2.0 at github.com/tirmizisamir/0pn.ai. The names "0pn", "0pn.ai", "No Internet Messenger", the logo, icons and wordmark are trademarks of Samir Tirmizi and are not licensed to you; you may not use them as the name or branding of any product or service. You keep all rights to the content of the messages you send.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SAMIR TIRMIZI AND ANY CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, MISSED OR MISDELIVERED MESSAGES, OR ANY OTHER LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED INDIAN RUPEES (INR 100). You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Samir Tirmizi and contributors from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, the content you send, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
The Service is provided without any support, maintenance or updates, and we have no obligation to respond to questions, reports or requests. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice or liability. We may update these Terms by posting a new version at this address; the effective date above will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
The Service may link to third-party websites (for example a code repository or a donation page). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

This notice explains what No Internet Messenger at https://0pn.ai (the "Service") does with information. The short version: we do not collect, store, transmit or sell any personal data.
The Service has no user accounts and no backend. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, cookies or third-party scripts. We do not receive your messages, your name, your location or any identifier. Our web host may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address, time and requested file) solely to deliver the page and keep the service secure; we do not use them to identify you.
To work, the Service stores the following in your own browser, on your own device: the display name you choose, your recent message history and your preferences. This data never leaves your device through the Service. You can delete it at any time using the "Clear Chat" button, by clearing your browser's site data, or by uninstalling the app.
The Service asks for microphone permission so that it can receive messages from nearby devices. Audio from the microphone is processed instantly on your device to detect messages and is never recorded, stored or uploaded. You can revoke the permission at any time in your browser or device settings; the Service will then be able to send but not receive.
Messages travel directly between nearby devices. Any device in range running the Service can receive them, and they are not encrypted. Treat anything you send as public to the room you are in.
The Service can be installed as an app and caches its own files on your device so that it works without a connection. This cache contains only the app's files, not your data.
Links to GitHub, LinkedIn or a donation page lead to services with their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
The Service is not directed at children under 13 and, because it collects no data, we knowingly hold no information about anyone of any age.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete; all such data is under your direct control on your device. If you believe this is not the case, contact us and we will help.
